Shankar’s Sunday Sappadu at Fire by Shankar, Penang happens on 27th of August from 12noon to 4.30pm.

I love Nandu (crab), and I’m sure many of you do, too. But it’s a tedious job getting the meat out of the shell. So, I’ll do it for you. This weekend, it’s Pitchi Potta Nandu Sathai Kulambhu (a thick swimmer crab meat curry), Aadu Eraichi Ghee Roast (mutton in a piquant and spicy ghee masala), Meen Katlet (spiced fish cutlets), Pudalangai Kootu (snakegourd with dhall), Pappadams and Ponni Arisi Soru (fluffy Kaveri river bank rice). Come enjoy a crab lunch without the hassle!

And, as always, our freshly tapped Toddy from the “Thopu” is available at RM29 per litre.
